Movie Review: Miss Sloane
Miss Sloane (2016) is a taut political thriller about Elizabeth Sloane, Washington D.C.'s most ruthless and brilliant lobbyist. Known for always being ten steps ahead, she shocks the industry when she abandons her powerful firm to champion a gun control bill — a cause most consider unwinnable. As she wages war against the most formidable opposition of her career, her obsessive need to win begins to unravel the fine line between strategy and self-destruction.
